Absolutely lovely. Relaxing environment. Very friendly staff. It really is a home away from home but better, because I didn't have to clean it.

I arrived with very heavy luggage, as I was attending to a workshop and there was nobody available to help me with it.
That was very dissapointed.

One of the times I requested a taxi I had to pay an extra because of the driver was waiting for me at least 10 minutes. I was never adivsed that the taxi had arrived.

Again, there was nobody to help me with the luggage.
I wanted to stay longer on the room and was willing to pay, but I was told that I can not stay longer as my room was already sold

The only thing i was not happy about was spoilt lighting outside my room. It was out for a few days and no one seemed to notice or fixed it! Thus it was always dark when i come back in the evening and had to fumble with the key to open my room door (with the aid of my own mini torch light).
But i must say i love my cozy room (Room #20)!

Its like having your own little home in the middle of London! Apartment style accommodation but for the price of a B&B! A rare find especially in central London!

Excellent staff. very discrete. kitchen and bathroom facilities were good because they were new. Rooms were cleaned everyday. would strongly recommend Vancouver Studios to anyone who needs accomodation in Central London.

Maid service was brilliant, every night I could sleep very comfortably, every morning I could cook my own meal also very comfortably.

they requested full paymentin advance as they did not have eftpos. i refused - never heard of this requirement before - and she was quite rude to me - but i stood my ground and said like any other establishment we would pay on checkout

My only disappointment with Vancouver Studios was that: (1) On check-in the receptionist, who was new, did not charge for the last night of stay, so I was surprised by that just before check-out; and, (2) despite asking if there were a charge for making an 800 phone call from the hotel and being told 'no,' I was surprised with a $200+ charge. Since I refused to pay and have heard nothing since, I have chalked it up to the new, inexperienced receptionist.

Location is great; room is small but is balanced out by having a mini-kitchen and being exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend despite my check-out experience.

Actually I expected to get a room exactly as shown on the pictures posted on the website, but they gave me a smaller, slightly older one. In spite of this, it was quite nice.
The linens werenot changed through our 10-days stay and they also forgot to leave us fresh soap and shampoo-shower gel, but these are just minor details...
