My single room was small but comfortable. Having seen photos and having traveled to the UK a lot it was what I expected. The room was clean and quiet. The small bathroom was well-designed. I'm not a large person so it suited me fine and I'd prefer a little bathroom over sharing one any day. If you are a big person the shower will not work for you. Living in a state where you can't smoke in public buildings, including bars, I found the smell of fresh cigarette smoke sneaking into my room unwanted but not unusual in the UK.

I'm not sure if this is on the web site, but if not, you should mention that there is no elevator. I wasn't expecting one, but other people might. The nice young guy at the front desk carried my 40 pound case up to the 4th floor. Nice service.

I stayed at a friendly Victorian row-house hotel in a little clean room with a little modern bathroom with good water pressure. The cooked breakfast in the morning was great and allowed me to get on my way quickly without the hassle of finding food. The location is conveniently located close to Paddington Station and as a single woman I felt safe walking back from the Tube at 11:00 at night.

We liked to shower at night after walking around London and again in the morning to freshen up. An extra set of towels each day would have been nice.

Our only surprise was the size of the rooms. Not being used to the hotels in London we were not prepared for the tiny rooms. However, they were very clean and were extremely nice.

I did not see anything about there not being a lift. Not a big deal, but there are 5 floors of rooms and this might be an issue for someone not able to climb stairs.

We were very warmly welcomed even though we arrived quite early in the morning. The fellow at the desk gave us lots of information on things to do, how to get the tube, etc. Very kind and friendly

The room was small, but having stayed in similar hotels in London I expected this. First time visitors from North America might be surprised at the limited space. They would also be surprised by the lack of an elevator (lift). I am not suggesting any changes - just possibly prior warning for those from North America.

Location could should definitely be emphasize - close to Paddington, close to Hyde Park, convenient access to services - coin laundry, Post Office, food, Internet Cafes, pharmacy etc.

We were on the fith floor...walk-up. For some people that should be in the description of the accomodations.

Pleasant but you better be prepared to lug your bags up and down 5 floors of narrow stairs.

A Pleasant stay in an ideal location. Room clean and comfortable, ensuite shower room clean. Very helpful staff. Tea/Coffee making facilities would have been appreciated though. We had to make sure we had a supply of bottled refreshments.
Breakfast was presented nicely, it was freshly cooked but could have been warmer.

Ideal as a base for an overnight or weekend stay as well situated for getting transport to most attractions.

The accommodation was perfectly clean though the bathroom wasn't cleaned during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would be quite happy to stay here again and have recommended the hotel to other friends. The full English breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day.

We struggled to find our way to the hotel. We walked for a long time, and finally, we found it. We were exhausted, as so much walking in the heat in busy London streets drained us of energy.

It was hot when we were in London, so we had to keep the window open ... to a very busy and noisy street. We used ear plugs to be able to get some sleep. The bath room was very small. There were only two towels, one for each. We are used to Norwegian standard with more towels in the bathroom. But we lived with it. We tried the breakfast once, which was one time too many. It was not edible. So we ate all out meals out, even if we had paid for a complimentary breakfast.

Nobody was there at the reception desk when we checked out early in the morning, so we just left our key cards on the desk and left. We had prepaid for the stay at the arrival, so it was okay though. The staff at Omega was friendly and helpful when we asked for advice and help. They even booked a taxi for us the day before our departure.

They had a computer with access to the internet for the guests in the hallway. That was very positive.

I guess I would not recommend it, not due to the staff at the hotel, as they were very friendly and helpful, but because of the somewhat poor standard and the breakfast.
