• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 12.30pm, Check Out before 11am.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  All rates at the Thanet are per room.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  A full english breakfast is included in the price.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Bills can be settled on arrival, throughout your stay or on Check out.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English is spoken at reception with some French and Welsh.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  The Thanet has three floors up from entrance level. The Thanet does not have a lift.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Due to the age of the Thanet, all rooms are full of character, many with the original fireplaces.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No, they do not.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  No, they do not.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  The majority of the rooms at the Thanet are non smoking.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  All rooms at the Thanet have television (not satellite).
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  All rooms at the Thanet have direct dial telephones.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  The Thanet does not have air conditioning.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  The Thanet has the facilitiy for people to use their own computers in the lounge.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No, there is not.
• Is parking or garage available?
  There is an NCP carpark at the end of the street charging approx £20 for 24 hours.
• Where can we rent a car?
  Hertz car rental is approx 2 mins walk away.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Heathrow is about one hour away either by tube( Picadilly line into Russell Square) or Airbus into Russell Square.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  Minicabs can be ordered at reception to go to the airports.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  The Thanet is about a 2 minute walk for the bus stop of Russell Square, Southampton Row and Holborn.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Waterloo, Euston and Kings Cross are all close by.
• Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the underground / subway stop?
  Russell Square Underground is less than a 5 minute walk. Turn left outside the tube and head towrads the square. Once on the Square go clockwise and Bedford Place is the third turning off.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, there is not.
• Are pets welcome?
  Only guide dogs.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is not.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes with the correct adaptor.
