When I arrived, I was given the choice of two rooms. This was a nice touch! ... I was able to store my bags at the hotel after I had checked out. This was very beneficial and helped me a great deal. ... The room I chose was on the top floor. I am not sure whether the web site states that there is no lift, but it should do, as the stairs are quite twisty and there are a fair few of them. ... 'Very pleasant and homely. A cosy building with clean and smart rooms'

We arrived very early but was welcomed by the receptionist and promised to get our room as soon as possible. ... As we had stayed at the hotel before we knew what to expect. ... The St Georg Hotel has a perfect location for a short stay in London and has the nicest staff I´ve had the pleasure to come across in London. We will be back.

Our arrival was a very good one. The staff was exstremely polite and helpful in every way. ... Just a little to few days. A nice place to stay. ... Our flight was late in the afternoon and check out time at noon. The staff was really helpful, letting us store our baggage in the facilities and use the sitting room as a waiting aeria. ... The only thing that we can think of is that it is quite difficult to walk up the stairs to the fourth floor. It is understandable that there is no elevator, given the age of the house. ... A good one. Friendly and clean and in a good location.

I was pleasantly received. ... It would be nice if they have lifts especially when we have heavy luggage. ... It is a pleasant hotel and well-placed in London. I will recommend your website and this hotel to family and friends visiting London.

Hotel has no lift and if you take a room on top floor as I was given, then this is quite a difficult walk up not a few flights of stairs. ... Excellent location. Good value for money cf. London hotels in this area. Fairly basic accomodation and services. Room was a little cramped. Basically a clean and decent stay - nothing fancy but very cost effective for a tourist or short business stay. Note: the Hotel is not so well known and a little difficult to find.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. One staff person was friendly and efficient the other two while not bad were not particularly interested we felt. We would use the hotel again as the location, visual appearance, decor and cleanliness were all good standard. As you will see below there are some additional things that could/should be inproved for you to reach the standard of the category we think you represent. ... For us the breakfast was not 'full' as the web site stated. For example there were eggs but no egg cups, there were fruit jogurts but no plain, the butter was partly melted, the toaster could only toast one half of the bread. Things that can easily and with cost be improved. The room was clean and private but the space allowance for two people made it a tight squeeze. Nothing you can do there. The room was also very hot. The room faced the street - Gloucester Place - so was also very noisy all night. Dilemma: cool the room and live with noise or live with heat and noise of street as there was no functioning double glazing. Investment in good double glazing - where window can still be opened, - or air conditioner would help. ... If were not for our breakfast experience, the hot room and the noise we would say good value for money. One other thing, we arrived 08.30 a.m. and had to 'wait' until 13.00 before we could get a room. Some flexibility would be nice especially if a room is booked in advance as ours was. ... The small TV / conservatory room. Nice if you stay there more that one night I imagine. ... Better than many in London in this price bracket. Nice building, nice decor, clean . Couldn't swing a cat in it! Would stay there again but get a room at the back of the building. Convenient location.
