My stay at the Rydges Kensington was wonderful, the staff attentive, the concierge exceptionally helpful, and the rooms well maintained. Only suggestion: Some signage in the breakfast room explaining the different prices for breakfast would be helpful. ... Checkout was easy. Only suggestion: front desk should order a large taxi (estate car?) to take 3 people with 6 suitcases to Heathrow (rather than a too-small car, not really a taxi). ... Great location close to Gloucester Station, lots of great restaurants nearby, helpful staff, very clean rooms.

Extremely friendly hotel staff. Comfortable room and great food. We found it very easy to book online with your company and will definitely use you again! Thank you! ... A fun hotel with friendly Aussie staff and vegemite on the breakfast table! As an Australian, we thought it was like a home away from home! Well worth the money.

Question N.o 4: The first room we got (room n.o 220) should be classified as a budgetroom; abnormally warm and no possibilities to open the window because a constanly noisy 'fan' outside, (a constant sound that can torture you for a night). Though; there were absolutely no problems to change roorm next morning, the staff were very polite and helpful. Next room n.o 214 - no such problems. WeŽll be happy to return, in sum; a very nice hotel. ... Felt comfortable in the surrounding area. We had a good stay. ... no ... Traditional English style; (wich for us means) warm colours, dark furniture, beautiful oil paintings. Comfortable bathroom. Nice lobby. A fine older building situated in a good area of the town. Close to Subway and buses. Negative: not quiet i.e traffic (or fan?), and no aircondition - good to know if these things are important to someone.

The Hotel was fine,but we found the rooms very small and would have stayed in another hotel for larger rooms. ... Room size appeared bigger on web site. ... Good Hotel, good location, clean but not a lot of space in bedrooms.

I arrive in the very early hours of the morning and this posed no problem for the staff - I had alerted them to the time before my arrival. ... While the description of the hotel matched the website in many aspects, the room size was smaller than anticipated, especially for the price paod - difficult to fit luggage and me!! It was a single room but its width was no more than the length of the bed!! I had just returned from staying in Latvia in a four star hotel which cost approximately the same as this and the accommodation was definitely superior. The convenience of the location was similar in both cases. I know that London accommodation is expensive but felt that this room was unacceptable for the price. Dining room staff were not always familiar with English and this was an inconvenience when asking questions about breakfast. ... Staff were very happy to hold my luggage while I attended to business after checking out. This was much appreciated. ... Good location, close to museums, tube station, Hyde Park etc but room size left much to be desired.

whilst we were given an executive room as booked it was ridiculously small for that type of room & after 2 nights found out it was not the normal size executive room but the smallest one they had. ... room was too small & bed in small executive room was very small & uncomfortable. after 2 nights requested a more comfortable bed & was told room we had was smallest exec room then given a much larger exec room with queen bed - more comfortable but still not best sleep we had in 6 weeks holidaying. ... excellent location, walking distance to Harrods & good restaurants etc, next to tube station great, good hotel
