We can say nothing but good about the Rubens staff. The room was good, only the folding doors on the front of the TV enclosure spoiled it by not staying open; the lad who handled our bags promptly jammed a TV guide into it so problem solved.
We were served well by all the staff - the young lady from the Baltic states at tea time, at dinner, the Scots lad in tails, our waitress from Budapest, the attentive and informative Maitre D'and the memorable Cornish monkfish all contributed to our stay.
We requested a view but only received a view of some walls and pipes.
Your man at the desk at the rear of the lobby was super to my wife when he heard she had been a crime victim on the streets of London. He is a very caring person and helped greatly in getting her settled down.
