We had requested special arrangements and everything was as we requested. The person who greeted us was especially nice and helpfull. ... Small, quiet and very reasonably priced.

For the price, considering it is in central London, I thought it was fine and the breakfast was lovely. I would stay there again. ... I would recommend it.

the hotel was very nice, comfort and clean.i think that the price of 89gbp at night with breakfast was ok.i; m very satisfied with the quality of the hotel and i would recoment this hotel to anybody needs a clean and comfort hotel with a good breakfast. i like the tea maker into the room.please dont increase the price of the room!!!!!!some photos of the hotel in the web looks better than the reality but the hotel was ok. ... clean, comfort, with a good ,large bathroom, with tea maker and a good breakfast in a little but cosy breakfast room.

Very helpful getting myself and my several bags up to the room. When I discovered I needed an additional night later in the week, this was easily and conveniently arranged. Very considerate in letting me leave my rucksack and computer bag behind the desk during the day of departure until I'd returned with my car. ... Breakfast room staff had a relatively poor grip on English, which meant a bit of confusion on how/what was available for breakfast, how to order, etc., until I got the hang of it. I noticed others were equally confused. Menus (mentioning to help oneself to tea/coffee/cereal or juice) on tables might help considerably, rather than on a side table out of sight. ... More convenient for Baker St tube and Marylebone High Street than I'd initially realized -- don't know if this was on your website or not, or whether I just wasn't paying attention! ... Tiny single room but very quiet, convenient enough with the lift even tho' on the top floor.

We had to call for directions twice (we didn't print out the web directions) and they were very helpful. ... It was exactly what we expected, which was great!

It was very good of the manager to not charge me for my first night's stay - a meeting was cancelled at the 11th hour. Allowing me to postpone my stay to the following week was much appreciated. ... Shower gel sachets were supplied. They're not so easy to use as the bottles available in other nearby hotels.
Only one rasher of bacon supplied at breakfast.
The website stated satellite TV, but only CNN and Eurosport were available. ... £60 is very economical for a Central London stay.
Not as nicely furnished as the nearby Blandford Hotel, which is the same price and breakfast choice / quantities not as varied. However the heating and room coffee is better than that supplied at The Blandford.
However it's a better hotel than its neighbour, Hotel de la Place, who charge £30 more for worse facilities.
I'd go back to the Regency if the Blandford was full, but certainly wouldn't go to the Hotel de la Place.

We did experience some street noise in the night, but due to weather conditions, we had to leave the windows open to be cool. ... Accommodations provided all we needed for our stay. Although the room was not spacious, it was adequate for the time spent there. We were pleased with the breakfast served each morning. The location in London was better than anticipated. Many neighborhood restaurants within a couple of blocks, and an Underground station close by.

The hotel was more like a traditional Bed&Breakfast, rather than a hotel. It was clean and tidy, although the bathroom in the single room was a little cramped.

Service attitude at breakfast time = zero ... I wouldn't recommend him to stay there. Rooms have almost no space to move, plus they're not properly cleaned.

Friends had arrived the previous night and because I had arranged the accommodation the owner did not realise there were 2 seperate bookings and he had stapled both emails together and could only see the top email. ... rooms were clean but extremely small. We had to leave the bathroom door in our ensuite open in order to use the wash-hand basin as you could not bend over in the bathroom. The wash-hand basin blocked the area getting into the bath to have a shower and therefore it was quite dangerous trying to step in and out. We were also put into the basement which accompanied a musty stale smell once we went downstairs ... The breakfast was included in the price, but to be honest I would not eat there. The ladies cooking and serving breakfast were very pleasant, but had little English and were not well groomed. The eating area is in need of a make over. It is very shoddy and grubby and really you would not feel comfortable eating there. ... There is no bar and no common area. ... Hard to describe - I would not recommend a friend to stay there

They made me pay for the two nights in advance- claiming it was 'standard'. ... Checking out was fine. ... I was put in the basement room beside the kitchen! While the room was 'clean', the hallways were dirty and in need of refurbishment. None of this was apparent from the website. ... I would advise them under no circumstances to stay there.

I was asked to pay for the accommodation by credit card in advance during check-in,not during check-out, as if they did not trust me. Also they did not give me any invoice. ... Quite a nice place.
