the room was not clean, it was very dusty ... my check-out was a let down the gentleman in charge of it tried to first charge me for using my debit card when on the travel voucher it clearly stated the price of the stay including all taxes and charges, i just wonder how many people had not questioned the charge. the same gentleman also tried to charge me for another room he mumbled a price at me and went to charge it to me until my friend said we did not stay in two rooms. he clearly had no clue what he was doing ... clearly state wether or not there is a charge for paying by debit card ... cool

We arrived several hours early and were still able to check in to our room straight away ... Loved the hotel - quite eccentric and quirky. Hated the breakfast! - milk tasted odd - UHT I think, juice was UHT too and croissants soft and out of a packet. Shower very small. ... I paid with a debit card and still had to pay the credit card charge. ... Great fun, good value and a welcome change from the many formula hotels usually found in big cities.

UPon our arrival, our telephone was not in functioning order. The staff was very helpful, sending us someone to inspect the problem and completely replace the phone within half an hour of being notified of the issue. The front desk attendant was also very helpful in providing us directions. ... We were given the Cosmo Girl room. The theme was fun but the room was downstairs next to a door that the staff were often coming and going through and quarters were quite cramped in the bathroom. We figured we might have been put in this room due since the price we paid was 20 GBP less than their usual rate, so I guess you get what you pay for when looking for a deal. It might be worth 20 more pounds to get a choicer room, but overall we were pleased with the hotel and had fun examining the thoughtful touches. ... It was stated that we would have access to a DVD libray onsite. The hotel apparently does not actually have one. ... Fun, inventive, if not a bit kitchy. Worth a look.

The only thing I would say about the room was the toilet/shower area was on the small size. ... A very intresting place to stay.

Room was supposed to be a double but was actually a twin ... The hotel was fine but looked much better and more modern on the website. Bathroom very basic with one tablet of soap and nothing else. ... Small, secluded, unusual, interesting decor and good value. Bathroom clean but very basic

I booked a double room but was given a room with 2 single beds pushed together. The single room I booked was more like a cupboard and the shower didn't work. The double room en-suite was like a cheap plastic box. This was not the type of accomodation I'm used to. ... I realise this is a themed boutique type of hotel but it's also very dated especially if compared with simple but good value accomodation such as Premier Travel Lodge or Novotel who also run special offers online. ... The bathrooms are really tiny from my experience and made entirely of plastic and the rooms are pretty tight for the amount of furniture in them. ... Don't go!

the map on the website isn't very useful ... Telephone didn't work. Toilet didn't flush. Room was old and dirty. No shower curtain. 1 tiny piece of soap. ... If I paid by credit card, they were going to apply a 4% surcharge fee. Based on my understanding, this is a violation of their merchant agreement with the credit card companies. ... Dirty, dusty, and old. ... Dirty, dusty, and old, but with some very unique decorations. A photographer's dream.

Phone did not work. ... I didn't get to choose my room - each one of them is different. ... Quiet but fairly noisy with some guests with the doors. It's not your usual hotel - go for the room only.

There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom and only one towell each. The breakfast was not good at all. The hotel was nice, but the website makes it look a lot more luxurious than it is. I would stay here again though, it just wasn't what was expected. ... They let us leave our bags for the day

The room was very small but very original. Interesting. The bathroom was very clean but the fixtures in the room (such as draping cloth) needed some cleaning. ... Obviously the british pound being very expensive and London Hotels being also very expensive, we didn't feel it was good value for money however, I guess it was not bad in comparison with other hotels.

The rooms are quite small with alot of furniture contained within them. The bathroom facilities were a self contained unit and very cramped. We had to fix the door handle during our stay which came off in my hand when trying to close the door. We were just using the hotel as a base for one night which was ok but any longer and it would not have been a comfortable stay. ... Unusual in the sense that the decor of the rooms make the hotel more interesting.
