Built in 1787 The Montcalm was originally a graceful Georgian period residence on a quiet crescent in Central London. Approximately two centuries later in 1973, the building opened as a hotel and took its name from the French General the Marquis de Montcalm, who commanded the siege of Quebec in the 18th Century.
