I was asked whether I wanted a smaoking room or non-smaoking. I opted for a non-smoking, but I informed the Receptionist that it is unlawful to have smoking rooms in hotels in the UK now and she said she did not know that. I was initially booked into a non-smoking room, as opposed to the requested smoking-room.
I was away overnight in Brugges for the second night, and this gave the hotel-staff the opportunity to correct the mistake. ... The internet-access within the room did not function for the first few days. The staff did however issue a voucher for the use of the stand-alone computer. ... A pleasantly upmarket venue, with ready assistance from staff at all times.
