Accommodations |
The unique character of this Victorian building is inherent in the individuality of size, shape, furnishings and decor of each and every bedroom. De Luxe bedrooms provide exceptionally high levels of accommodation and comfort, and Executive bedrooms have been designed to provide an atmosphere of tranquillity, perfect for working or relaxing.
Non-smoking, connecting or larger family bedrooms also available on request.
As well as providing some of London's most beautiful accommodations, some of our suites can also provide the spaciousness so useful for families.
Two of our suites, the Lancaster and the Conservatory now also have a sofa bed already in the lounge. |
Hyde Park Suite: The ultimate in London accommodation. This stunning and spacious suite features every comfort and has been thoughtfully furnished to make your stay exceptional. Throughout the suite are original decorative details of great elegance and grandeur.
Greville Janner Suite: Once the nursery to Lord Janner of Braunstone the suite retains a calming, restful air, with light diffused through stained-glass windows. An exquisite suite with a fascinating history. |
Conservatory Suite: The original conservatory to one of the private houses is now a much sought after split-level suite. A unique, semicircular shape with panoramic stained-glass windows and private veranda.
Elizabeth Room: Four poster bed, oak beams, stone fireplace and tasteful furnishings create an atmosphere of romance.
New Bedroom Facilites
We are pleased to advise guests that all rooms and suites now contain an in-room personal digital safe. |
As we are often asked, all our rooms also have a trouser press, at least one hairdryer, and (unusual for Europe) wash-cloths.
The London Elizabeth has chosen not to install mini-bars to our bedrooms or ice machines on each floor. We are currently installing into a number of our rooms (but not all) small silent refrigerators for guests' personal convenience. Ice is always available from our Bar or from Room Service.
Each room at the London Elizabeth now boasts newly installed double or secondary windows specifically to deaden noise - and we have found they really do make a significant difference. |
Given our prominent and central location, and the protection given to our historic building, we cannot promise complete silence. However we know our new windows will improve the country atmosphere of our city-centre hotel.
The only exception to our new windows is in room 225, whose original 1850 arched leaded glass window has bent dramatically with the building's movement over 150 years. At the rear of the hotel, room 225 is exceptionally quiet. |
