FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions


 
  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    Our room check-in time is normally at 12 noon. If you happen to arrive before 12 noon, you can leave your luggage with us and we will take it to your room as soon as it is cleaned. However if the room was not let the night before, it might be possible to check you into the room immediately after registering at the reception.
    Our check-out time is before 11.00am. If you wish to extend your stay for a few hours, special arrangements can be made, please refer to receptionist and he/she will assist you in this matter.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    All our prices are per room per night.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    Yes, breakfast is included in the price. In our hotel guests can always choose whether to have full English or Continental breakfast. We also offer Vegetarian and Mediterranean Breakfast.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes. Guests can settle their bill upon the arrival or departure in cash, by credit card or cheque.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English, Spanish, Arabic, Lithuanian, Russian and Polish.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    Since our hotel is a listed building of Georgian character and is under preservation order, we don't have a lift, however our staff are more than willing to give you every possible assistance with your luggage. There are four floors in our hotel, so if you happen to have problems with the stairs, please request a room on a lower floor when booking.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    One half of our rooms are facing the street, the other half if facing the quiet mews. All the rooms are private & with a little effort can be made romantic.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    There are a few rooms that have a small balcony.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    We do not have non-smoking rooms as such, however when we get a booking for a non-smoking room, our chambermaids go through an additional strict and specified cleaning procedure to ensure that the room is adequately aired and refreshed in order to minimize if not eliminate any traces of smoking if it's there.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    Yes, all our rooms have satellite TV.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    Yes, all our rooms have a telephone with direct dialling.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, we don't have air conditioning, however all our rooms are provided with fans.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    In the near future guests will be able to check their emails in the hotel. At the moment, however, guests can check their emails in the many internet cafes close to the hotel.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    Not in the property, but there is a swimming pool in the neighbourhood, in a public leisure centre.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Yes, see the Facilities page for details.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    There are several car hire firms near to the hotel and we can advise you on the most convenient.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Heathrow.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, but we happen to be very lucky, because the public bus shuttle stops are very close to our hotel.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    George Street, Baker Street, Marble Arch.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Marylebone, Paddington.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the underground / subway stop?
    We are only five minutes away from Marble Arch and Baker Street underground stations
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    Not in the property, but in the nearby situated Seymour Leisure Centre.
  • Are pets welcome?
    We regret, but we can't accommodate pets.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there isn't, however, we can recommend to you many English pubs and International authentic cuisine restaurants in our area, within 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    We offer Free Internet access to all guests and all our rooms have free Internet wireless access.
