Facilities within the Property

Before we opened our hotel in 1976 we were solely a restaurant.
Over the years we have won many awards and are proud to have a very loyal client base that return time and again to see what we have created.

We continue to provide an excellent standard of cuisine that suits all budgets, and is always available to provide a comforting meal at the end of a hard day of work or touring. We also have a bar area where one can simply have a coffee or a snack and relax. Licensed premises (alcoholic drinks served).

As well as a restaurant and a bar we can offer a fax service, a communal iron and a trouser press. It is possible to use laptops in all bedrooms with the appropriate UK phone jack connection.

Nearby Facilities

We are based in the heart of the village and are within a few minutes walk of all local amenities. Hampstead is full of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, a cinema, two local theatres and several historic attractions such as Keat's House, Highgate Cemetery, the Freud Museum and Fenton House as well as the splendour of Kenwood.

We are also within easy reach of attractions near London such as Windsor Castle, Hampton Court, St. Albans, Aylesbury, and Henley on Thames.

All central London attractions are easily reached within a 15-30 minute time frame.

Parking Facilities:

We do not have our own car parking. Your options are:

1) Pay and display parking: This is very close to us and is operational from 9am until 6pm. After these hours and all day Sunday it is free.

2) Free local car park: Four minutes up the road from us behind Jack Straws castle pub there is a community car park. It is not too big but if arriving early there should not be too much of a problem with finding a park. There is one restriction and that the car park is locked between 6am and 10am to stop commuters using it.

3) On road parking: Just beyond Jack Straws Castle it is possible to park. There are no restrictions and it is probably the safest area in which to park as it is well lit at night and there is always traffic on the road.

The weekends are very busy and parking can be difficult unless you arrive mid to late morning.
