The welcome procedure was very clear. It
could have been of great help, if there I
alreday could have found for example the
Magazin Time out / What's on in London or
the Agenda from the 'Guardian'.

I paid alredy in advance when there was some
time to have another longer conversation
with the receptionist. I think it is also a
matter how one gets organised oneself.

For the amount of money I paid per night, I
coludn't expect more comfort. I was very
pleased spending nine nights at this place.

The bathroom and toilette facilities were very poor. The shower space was less than minimal and the toilette seat was not properly fastened to the floor.

Television gets only 3 channels.
Staff moved my clothes/belongings to a smaller room mid-stay, without telling me - threw all clothes in suitcase, then piled stuff on top of clothes.

I requested a room on 1st floor as my wife had suffered a heart attack in April. When we checked in one was not available and we were faced with a considerable number of stairs.

Despite the renovations that were in
progress, the room was comfortable amd
private.
The staff was very helpful and responsive to
our requests. The complimentary breakfast
was good with plenty to choose from.
Since our room was on the fourth floor,
the stair were challenging at the end of the
day. Overall, the hotel was clean,
comfortable with a very nice staff.

The man in the reception did not talk much, almost not at all

We did request a ground floor 4mths prior to arrival,but was placed on floor 1.
The reason for the request was that we are 60 yrs of age and find it difficult to haul the luggage upstairs,especially since we had been travelling for 3 mths and needed to carry excess clothing with us.

We found the room we were in ok, some shelving in the bathroom would had been a help as there was nowhere to put the toiletries.even some shelves in the bedroom would have been a help,we were very lucky we had a spare bed otherwise it would have been too small.The shower head didn't work so we couldn't shower we had to bath all the time,a little hard when washing your hair.The girls in the breakfast room were great and very fast,but it would have been nice to have had a variety of cereal.

That there is NO washing facilities.and NO clothes line in the room or anywhere else to dry your clothes.
I beleive these two things are essential when traveling.

Fairly good,but would suggest to them to check around for the 2 facilities stated above.Some people did suggest to us that the hotel they stayed at had plenty of room,and included a full breakfast for a little less than we were paying.

We were initially put in a room 4 floors up and the ensuite was not very good. However we were later moved to a much better room by a different manager who could not understand why we had been given the first room on arrival.

The ladies doing the breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

There is no lift and rooms on the highest floors are only reached by a very steep staircase.
Although it says it was recently refurbished, some things like the specialised toilet flush on the first ensuite
were broken and the toilet seats moved.

Thank you for checking us in early. Also, you offered breakfast. It was most kind. This also happened on our first visit and is one of the reasons we came to stay with you again.

It would be beneficial to let people know that there is no elevator and when they book advise them of what floor they are on.

Convenient to Paddington, close to the Tour buses and Hyde Park. Clean, friendly and reasonable.

We arrived at the hotel around 5pm and were kept waiting for about half an hour without clear reason (receptionists + manager were talking in arabic). I suspected that the room may not have been ready.

The bath room is much smaller that it appeared in the website. The ventalation of the bath room wasn't so good either. The phone was not working.

Checking out is quick and simple.

Positive: location and neighborhood is very good and convenient. Many restuarants, convenient stores, coffee houses, supermarket, all within walking distance. It is also easy to get to anywhere in London from Paddington. The best is we can check-in at Paddington for return flight.
Negative: bath room is too small.

Good value for money, but don't expect such comfort. The place encourage you to spend more time outside.

The room, especially the bathroom, was smaller than expected, and also the furnishings and walls were worn and tired, but everything was clean and the room was nice. The bed was not very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, but not always knowledgeable or able to help, although they did try.

The staff were again not always knowledgeable, but they did prove very helpful regarding a problem we had with our credit card, which was wonderful. However, we were charged an additional fee not quoted as we paid with a credit card and not with cash. This fee was not stated in advance.

The breakfast was a disappointment.
We had really been looking forward to English breakfast. But yak !!
The room was quite small. A quadruple room is to small for 2 adults and 2 kids.

We had to argue about the price.
The receptionist wanted to charge us extra because we did not pay in cash,but with our creditcard. (Tell me;is anyone paying in cash these days ??)

OK, but if I'm going to London again, I would use more money on the hotel, and chose a hotel with better standard.
