 Kensington House Hotel, which opened in 2000, is situated in Kensington, only minutes from the Underground, Earls Court and Olympia and London's many famous shops and restaurants. This contemporary 41room town house is a 'real find' for both the business and leisure traveller. |
Offering its own modern brand of hospitality within an historical setting; the four-storey stucco-fronted building has been restored to its original 19th century elegance. The staircase and balustrade have also been retained together with many of the ceiling mouldings. |
However, the bedrooms and Tiger Bar reflect a more fashionable, understated style with the emphasis on simplicity and light. Collections of 20th century photography and modern British oil paintings have been carefully selected to complement the overall design. |
