Though polite, requests for an addiional mlk sachet in morning was not entertained. Am not sure if this is standard, or expected at this price.
The lobby and room furnishings also were a bit musty and a bit of a let down, though the restaurant ambience(think old English manor) made up somewhat for it.

Good place. The receptionist was particularly helpful with directions to places I wished to visit.

The room was very small, but the bath was very nice. The staff could have been more smiling and polite. Don't use the elevator, I got stuck there and then you think about the movie Speed..

The restaurant and bar were not open Sunday and monday evenings. I booked this hotel because it had these facilities but it did not affect our stay too much. It would have been helpful to have had this information in advance. There seemed to be insufficient hot water in the mornings as we had to take luke warm ones on a couple of occcasions.
...
We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel as we were not travelling home until the evening and the hotel staff were happy to arrange a taxi for us.
...
The fact that the restaurant and bar are not open Sundays and Mondays. With the hotel being full I feel they could open these facilities all week.

Very reasonably priced with good facilities. Very convenient to all London attractions. Tube close by. Ideal stay for a visit to London.

I have stayed in London many times and travel extensively at no time have I paid so much for so little. This was a closet. There was no floor beyond the bed and 2 steps only could be taken. I could not even open my suitcase. Conservatively, using contemporary London prices I should have paid half. I paid far more than the posted price at the desk as well.

Twin bed rather than double bed for single use.

There was no instruction on how to operate the sauna - not sure if you need to tell the reception that you are gonna use it. You only realise that a bit too late as you would be in your swimming costume by then. 8)

Location is good, got an iron and ironing board and trouser presser as well - so these are quite helpful. Room I got was a bit tight (twin bed for a small room) - difficult if there were two people sharing it.
...
It's got a pool and a sauna - not common in hotels near Piccadilly train station. 8)

And gorgeous Spanish lads and gals awaiting you at the reception. 8)

I was in a closet on the top floor in the middle of a heatwave. There was only a french door leading onto a shared balcony (with everyone else on the floor) and no window. So it was nearly impossible to sleep due to the heat and the lack of safety.

Wish some of the rooms were non-smoking.

A closet in a mediocre to low-end hotel. Basically just a tiny bed and a shower.
