Profile

The Hart House Hotel is a part of an original Georgian Terrace of family mansions that were occupied by the French nobility during the French Revolution of 1789. In 1957 it was converted from a single family house into an elegant residents for business men working in London during the week that would then travel to their country homes at week-ends.

In 1969 my parents purchased the building and converted it into the hotel that we have today. On my parents retirement in 1984 I took over the running of the hotel. Over the years we have built a strong base of regular guests that come back year after year.

We are highly recommended by many distinguished guide books & travel organisations such as the AA, RAC, Michelin, Which and Frommers's and are noted for our outstanding cleanliness, gracious hospitality, exceptional value and excellent location.
