Our room was ready for us at check in which we greatly appreciated after lengthy travel!
...
The proprietor of the Georgian Hotel was extremely helpful with all our needs, including making a phone call for us when we had difficulty getting thru.
...
On hot days in London (which we did experience several!) the room is very stuffy and did not have adequate ventilation, but then again what small B&B would?
We never ate breakfast at the hotel, even tho it was included in the price; it wasn't available until 8:00 am which is too late for us and the dry cereal and hard boiled eggs weren't particularly appealing!
...
Fairly non-descript room, pretty much what we expected from a B&B in London. We still would rather have the charm of a small B&B versus the non-descript room of a larger hotel trying to 'please' Americans!
Location was good, we discovered a charming neighborhood within a short walk of the Georgian.

The room we had was 'ok' but not great. It was a first floor room and the windows couldn't be opened. As a result, the room got stuffy from lack of ventilation. I wasn't disappointed with the room, although I'm not sure I would book at the Georgian on a return to London.

On arriving at the hotel after the book in time of 11am we were told that our room would not be ready for 1 hour. I told them that as we had been on the go since 5.30 that morning travelling down from Edinburgh I was not prepared to wait all that time as I had my two grandchildren aged 9 and 6 and my granddaughter 16 with me and we all wanted to get washed and changed before we left to got to the Emirates Stadium for the Arsenal game. They eventually cleaned out another room and gave us that but was originally told that the people in the room designated for ourselves had not checked out. I told them it was not my problem.
...
The shower in the room we had was very difficult to switch on and off and caused problems.
The staff serving breakfast had very poor English and were not easy to speak to.
...
An old hotel that requires some form of modernisation.

We had planned on taking the airbus from the Heathrow and were told at the airport that it no longer existed.
...
In Fodors, it was stated that full English breakfast was served, but we found out that that was not the case.
I was also disappointed that there were not hair dryers or irons in the rooms.
...
The lift does not run late in the evening or in the early morning, so it was a bit difficult dragging the suitcases down from the top floor.
...
The lift is not in use 24 hours, so if you stay out late (past 10 I think) or leave early you must take the stairs.
...
Slightly shabby but inexpensive and in a good location.

An ok hotel for the price thought the breakfast was a bit like 'faulty tower'. (we had to ask several times for toast and noone seem to take responsiblity for servicing the guest at breakfast.

This was one of the poorest experiences I have had. The accommodation was not good value for money. Although clean the room was very basic - television reception was very poor. I would expect more from such 'hotel'
