Catch the Heathrow Express train to Paddington Station change to the Underground system and take the Underground system westbound Circle Line (yellow) or District Line (Green) to Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left. The Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road.

By London Underground (Tubes):
Take the Piccadilly Line (Dark Blue) to Earls Court Station, change to the northbound District Line (Green) via Edgware Road to Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left. The Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road.
By A2 Airbus:
Catch the A2 Airbus from Heathrow and get off at Notting Hill (near Notting Hill Gate Station. Walk towards Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left; the Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road. Airbus operates the A2 service from all terminals at Heathrow into central London. There are two buses an hour and the services run from 05:30 (Terminal 4) and 05:45 (Terminal 3) until 21:45 (Terminal 4) and 22:08 (Terminal 3).
The A2 Airbus goes to Kings Cross via Holland Park, Notting hill, Queensway, Lancaster Gate, Marble Arch, Baker Street, Great Portland Street, Euston and Russell Square from outside all Heathrow terminals.
By Gatwick Express:
Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station. Change to the underground system and take the westbound Circle Line (yellow) to Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left. The Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road.
Gatwick Express is a non-stop service to Victoria Station, London which takes around 30 minutes. From Gatwick, services currently run as follows:
By Waterloo Train Station:
Take the Underground system Jubilee Line (silver) to Westminster Station and change to the westbound Circle Line (Yellow) and continue to Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left. The Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road.
From Victoria Station:
Take the underground system westbound Circle Line (yellow) to Notting Hill Gate Station. From Notting Hill Gate Station walk down Pembridge Road, turn into Portobello Road on your Left. The Gate Hotel is on the right hand side of the Portobello Road.
If you are coming from National Coach Station at Victoria, walk down to Victoria Station and follow the directions given above. |
