This is an extraordinary value. I've maade numerous trips to London. Any other hotel offering comparable value costs at least twice as much. ... A truly delightful small hotel in Belgravia. Charming location, charming rooms, friendly helpful staff. I plan to make this my home in London for all future visits. I cannot recomend this hotel highly enough.

Katrina and the staff at The Diplomat Htel in London were OUTSTANDING! When we arrived, they made our room available sooner than expected. While we were wating, they provided us with a a nice place to wait and some refreshments. ... The room was bigger and cleaner than we expected. The hotel lobby and stairs were quaint and charming. ... Very efficient. ... A beautiful spiral staircase leading to the rooms. ... It is in a tremendous location, with a truly polite and caring staff, combining the warmth and friendliness of a 'bed and breakfast' with the efficiency and cleanliness of a hotel.

It was a very hot day - and we were hot and exhausted - lo and behold they had a water cooler right beside the desk - Great touch! The receptionist gave us a recommendation for lunch - which was perfect for our needs at that time! ... Outstanding posh area of London. Felt we were lucky to have paid what we did amongst 1 to 2 million pound homes, and of course all of the designer shops (Prada etc, as well as Harrods and exclusive restaurants. ... Charming, good value, and safe.

The only comments I have regarding the room is that since it was very hot in London during our stay . The consequence being that the room was very hot since the sun was shining all day through directly on the room. So I had problems sleeping the first night. But the next day I was able to change to a room down in the basement which was much better considering the hot weather. The hotel staff was very helpful in this process. ... You could mentioned that for the time being there is some construction work going on in the nabourhood (next door) so if the guest are looking for a quite room (day time) with possibilities for resting during the day. That could be difficult. The contractors start 9 in the morning and end like 5 in the afternoon. This was not a problem for us since we were busy being tourists most of the day. ... A nice intimate place with clean rooms good standard (not to small) and polite and helpful hotel personell and in a beautiful classy aerae. To Norwegian friends I would also mention that it is close to the Norwegian Embassy.

Purified cold water outside of room. Very convenient and appreciated. Television didn't work very well. ... Hotel arranged taxi to Heathrow when we were leaving and the driver had a beautiful vehicle and was very accomodating. ... Delicious hot breakfast each morning. Very nice way to start the day as a tourist or business person. ... Wonderful hotel. Very private and quiet in a residential upper class area of London. A concierge would be helpful for tourists like ourselves. The manager was the only person that could answer our simple questions and we only ran into her once. The others seemed to be new or unfamiliar with direction and how to buy theatre tickets although they were always pleasant

A nice, small hotel situated in a sober, quiet and central part of London. Good value for money.
The walking distance from the closest tube station is a bit too long if you bring luggage.
Easy to get a cab in the neigbour.
