The rooms are small, there is no way around that, but they were clean, comfortable, well maintained and surprisingly quiet considering that the hotel was full during our stay. We had a family room and the only downside was lack of clothe storage for all of us.
The staff was wonderful, even feeding us on Monday morning when we were still on weekend breakfast schedule! ... I believe the web site states it, but it is good to emphasize that there are NO lifts. If you have a hard time with stairs request a ground floor room!
They were very helpful booking us onto a daytour we found out about while we were there.
They do ask that you not leave converters pluged in in the rooms while you are gone, but you can bring your things down to the office and they will let you recharge there while you are out. The office also supplies hairdyers for your stay. One less item to pack! ... The Crescent is a small charming hotel in the Bloomsbury area of London. With the University of London and the British Museum in walking distance, the neighborhood has a lot of energy during the day and a wonderful quiet at night. We loved walking through 'our' neighborhood to the Russell Square or the Euston Square tube stops. Right around the corner are a wonderful array of pubs and resturants, most of which we sampled! There are a variety of other shops and we enjoyed being able to stop in on the way home for our evening sweets and newspaper. My teenaged daughter appreciated the local shopping area where she was able to purchase shoes and clothing at prices that were more affortable for her budget

The breakfast had the same menu each day -- after four days it would have been nice to have some variety. There were issues with the computer and the Internet -- this is a real problem when you need the Internet for business or to make travel arrangements and expect to have access. The wireless worked, though, but we only received it well in the lounge room (our bedroom was on the third floor), and there were no printed directions telling us which of the many wireless connectins to use and what the password was.
The lounge room was small and often crowded. ... Issue with the Internet -- don't say that it is available and then not have it work. ... A charming hotel, a bit thin around the edges, but homey and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and efficient. All in all, an enjoyable experience.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel, its proximity to the underground, and the full English breakfast. Another plus is the computer in the lounge that we could use to check our email.
We would recommend this property to our family and friends.

I did not think the room warranted the cost. It was clean and reasonably quiet (right at the very top of the building) but very small and final staircase access was difficult. ...
... Adequate hotel for an overnight stay but overpriced. Attic rooms small and staircase narrow and steep. Lower floor rooms possibly better value. However, very clean and staff, particularly waitresses, very polite. Internet access in lounge was welcome.

Our room was on the very top floor could be difficult for people with mobility problems. Also being at the front of the hotel it was noisy at night.Otherwise our stay was very pleasant and we would recommend the hotel. ... Very convienent to tube station,on Picadilly Line from Heathrow. Quite an easy area to walk around.
