We were orginally allocated a room in the roof space. The heating did not work and the room was very cold. The following morning I brought the problem to the attention o the management who moved us to a superior room. We were also given complementary breakfasts.
Well done Colonnade, you did all the right things when you were aware of a problem.
We will be back.

It was incredible! It was all the little things that made the experience memorable. The flower on the pillow at turn down, the clssical music playing when we walked in the room, perfect hospitality. If you get the chance, you have to stay there!

Our concern was that the room was not ready at 2:00pm and we needed to get ready for a wedding. We appreciate that people checking out late can not be helped and that all was done to remedy this. It did not help that we were cold from the journey and neede to have a drink to warm up - again not your fault.

We did not like not getting back the slip with my credit card details on. We are told to always get this number back to avoid fraud and couldn't make the receptionist understand what we wanted.
...
Very comfortable, quiet and very near the tube station.

Very close to the tube station and good location, clean, tidy and safe.

Excellent location, central, safe, easy to get to by bus, taxi or tube. Local restaurants, dairy, post office, laundrette, pubs, newsagent. Close to Paddington for Heathrow Express.

While we did get the 'double room with extra bed for a kid' requested, we had made specific arrangements for the Freud Suite, which was no longer available when we arrived. This was a little disappointing but the hotel did its best to give us a comfortable room.

I would have preferred a room where the only window did not overlook the exit for the kitchen extractor fan. In addition to the noise, our room was frequently filled with the smell of frying bacon - not an unattractive smell but not the best room perfume for vegetarians!

The breakfasts are worth a special mention, they are really rather good.
...
Central but quiet location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good breakfasts.
