The Colonnade is a double faced beautiful Victorian Town house Hotel built in 1865, steeped in history. Many of its original features have been restored back to their original glory to create an environment that has a warm, inviting and intimate atmosphere. This includes, unique reminder, an unusually shaped Victorian lift which was installed when the building was a Maternity Hospital in the nineteenth century.

This boutique style, luxury Town House now boasts 43 individually designed and decorated unique guestrooms and suites, combining the very best of five star luxury with the intimacy of staying in a private home. The many antiques dotted around the building creates the house's signature style which is tangible in each individual room, more like suites, such are their sizable appointments.

The Colonnade is situated in the prestigious oasis of central London’s “ Little Venice”, a smart, sophisticated and peaceful residential area just minutes away from the bustling city centre of London and within minutes of the Heathrow Express at Paddington Station, being convenient for London’s many sights, restaurants and business areas.

We have endeavoured to select some of our favourite places to visit near and around Little Venice and our first suggestion is to experience one of London’s magnificent Royal Parks, the beautiful Regent’s Park. Created in 1811 by John Nash, a close friend, at the time, of The Prince Regent, is now celebrated for its fine gardens, heronry and waterfowl collection and Open Air Theatre productions.

Regent’s Park also plays host to the world famous London Zoo which is situated in the heart of the park. For a relaxing afternoon’s sightseeing between April and October, take in the picturesque sights of London’s Regents Canal with a cruise on a canal barge that will take you from Little Venice down to Camden Lock Market.
