 Europe's largest outdoor swimming pool, Tooting Lido is a short walk from Parklands. Nearby attractions include Wimbledon Tennis and Centre Court shopping centre (6km) which is a bus ride direct from Tooting. There is also Northcote Road, the 319 bus, for high fashion designer shops, speciality foods, flowers, department stores, designer jewellers, antiques, bars, cafes and restaurants.
As well as a local street market on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. Clapham Common is only three stops away for trendy bars and nightclubs and high profile restaurants and is becoming well known for its Art Galleries. The Borough of Wandsworth is a much sought after location - Clapham Junction Mainline station is 10 minutes away by bus and is the gateway to the South of England, and fast trains go direct to Gatwick (30 minutes, also Earls Court (15 minutes) and Waterloo (5 minutes).
Two indoor swimming pools within easy reach, a running track and fitness area a few yards from Parklands, several health clubs, tennis courts and a lake and woods closeby. The home is close to two excellent supermarkets, pharmacy, drycleaners and hairdressers. |
