From the comfort of the Blue Bells, it is a short walk through a charming residential neighbourhood, to the buzz of the Portobello Road and Westbourne Grove; antiques and art galleries, market stalls and designer shopping, restaurants and pubs. Notting Hill underground station is two minutes away, Heathrow airport 30 km and Paddington main line station is 4 km away (there is express train service between Heathrow and Paddington train station). Portobello Road and its picturesque market can be reached in 10 min. walking distance. We invite our guests to experience this market has been held here since 1837, and today is really three or four markets rolled into one.
At the Notting Hill end there are over 2,000 stalls selling antiques, jewellery, paintings, coins, medals, silverware and collectables. All the stallholders here are experts so don't expect too many bargains but lot of fun! |
