 Each of the 45 bedrooms has been designed by Anouska Hempel, every detail reconstructed to provide the ideal blend of colour, texture and atmosphere. The colour schemes are daring, stunning and dramatic, all designed with a vibrant spirit, the passion for travel and life as it should be, romantic and thought provoking.
Black and mustard, rich cardinal reds, lavender, vanilla, washes of tea rose and a room that is white on white on white on white, offering style and elegance to the discerning traveller. In the business of making dreams a reality, unable to accept the ordinary Anouska Hempel is creating a world of excellence one room at a time. All rooms have a telephone with voice mail and modem ports, television with satellite channels, VCR and a safe.
In the larger rooms and suites, Hi-Fi system and DVD players are standard. All of Blakes' guest rooms and suites as well as public areas are linked to the latest in wireless internet, with the fastest connection in London! |
 Single Room: French double beds, small studio style rooms, black and white, Japanese inspired, ticking in abundance, beautiful architectural prints and mirrors, white linen cushions, elegant and eclectic, huge over sized French headboards.
Twin Room: Single beds, more tailored in the English style, black and white ticking, very traditional. Architectural prints, light and airy. Two single beds with stunning balconies with views onto the cobbled South Kensington Mews. |
 Luxury Double: Our Luxury Double Rooms are decorated in different tones of grey, white and ivory silks. Two of these rooms have stunning antique swan beds, which adds to the unique experience that Blakes offers. Room 405 is decorated in a kimono theme bringing a Japanese essence into the room. It also has a separate sitting area and a private balcony. |
 Director's Double: King sized beds, French gilded swan beds or 4 posters. Pale grey Venetian rooms, sparkling, moody and state of the art splendour. Antique Beideremier 4 poster beds with stencilled floors and gold accents. King sized campaign bed, gold and black, Napoleonic, theatrical, decorative items and prints from Versailles. King-sized La Carmona beds, rusts, saffron's, spicy colours, corralled Japanese Shuijo horses around the walls. |
