Asked for twin beds, got double. ... The girl in the reception did not say one word to us during check out. She spent the whole time on the phone. And there was plenty off staff available. That would never have worked in Norway..... ... Cosy bar in the hotel reception, perfect for a night cap and opportunity to talk to other guests. ... Nice hotel with great location, small rooms (at leats the one we stayed in) and smiling employees.

Very helpful and nice staff.Room was adequate for price.They seemed very interested in making sure everything was well handled. I would stay there again. Only negative is that the front steps when wet(raining) on arrival were very slippery. ... The steps being slippery when wet. I actually twisted my knee going in. ... In a good location, quiet, reasonable and clean.

I have stayed at the Blakemore before. Previously I had a room at the back, which was quiet. This time I had a room at the front and there was considerable street noise most of the night. I realise this is not the Blakemore's fault, but in future I shall request a room at the back if this is possible. ... A slight mix-up over breakfast bills. I had three breakfasts and signed for all three, but was initially only billed for one, until I pointed out the error. ... A reasonable hotel, well situated for my needs, not too expensive if booked in advance on-line.

These people simply said that they did not have any information about the stay as their systems did not get update over the weekend with your systems. I could not carry the final voucher print out and so I had to go out and bring that again to show, but after that all was fine. ... There was a false fire alarm one night, and that felt and showed as if the hotel is not so verse about safety measures, which created lot of issues in the night. ... No it was all very good.

There was no copy of our voucher available in the reception. They solved this problem by copying our voucher. ... The continental breakfast was sparse and expensive. ... Nice and quiet

Better map needed - there are several place names with 'Leinster' in it, and remembering something of Bayswater from before, I first started in the wrong direction from Queensway tube station. ... Not very good chairs in the room, and awkward placing of a rather well-worn TV set that I had to keep some distance from in order to get clear pictures. Window difficult to handle for opening and closing. Not easy to turn on the shower without getting wet with cold water - but hat seems to be a general trouble with English shower equipment. ... Payment for renting a meeting room a bit on the expensive side ... My room faced the back, and there was some noise from an area open to the Underground Circle line somewhere nearby - but then, I didn't need the forgotten alarm clock to wake me up, though a bit too early ... fair enough

I was not even offered help to carry my luggage or even shown up to my room ... I will never go back to this old and smelly 'hotel'. The carpet was so dirty I had to keep my socks on the whle stay. The TV set had colours I didn't know even existed. The noise from the street was constant. ... Definitely not

i asked for an upgrade but did not get one. The room was too small for a four night stay ... Room was too small ... Was eating in the resteraunt watching a football match when a Spanish couple insisted on watchin a Spanish football match which was endorsed by the receptionist. The bar emptied and the Spanish couple got their way. ... Adequate

It was a basic welome, and cold have been much more friendly. 'Cold' is a word that comes to mind. ... The room was small and near the lift well, so we were kept awake by its constant noise at night. ... A standard routine procedure. ... The restaurant is good, and should be promoted more. ... Good front entry, poor room, good restaurant and so-so staff on reception.

when booking i searched for a place with breakfst, however when i came i was told the price doesnt include the breakfast, ... the covers on the bed had holes, and the condition of the room was not as good as it should be. the hotel looks from outside better then it is inside.... ... i stayed in a better places for less money ... find another place to spend a night, the hotel looks better from the outside, then it really is.
