The receptionist said there was something wrong with the VISA-card we gave her and ask for another card.
We said we thougt there was nothing wrong with the card but with her machine. Se said, in a rather unpolite way, that that was not possible. We used the same card during our entire stay in London without any problem.
At the end of our stay, with another receptionist, the card was working perfectly.

The room was not at all spacious.
We knew that there was no breakfastroom and that breafast would be serves in the room.
However, we would have had expected that there were at least a small table and 2 chairs in the room, so we would'nt have to eat while sitteing on the floor.
The quality of the breakfast was rather poor.
For example, the croissants and scones were not at all fresh, but probabely baked the day before.

To expensive according to what is offered.
