FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions


 
  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from midday, Check Out before 11am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price quoted is per room.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    We do not provide breakfast as we are Self-Catering apartments. There is however a kitchenette provided in every room.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Heating is included in the quoted price.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    We take payment for accommodation on the guests arrival.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    There are three floors. We do not have a lift but staff are more than happy to help you with luggage at any time.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    All of our apartments are located in a quiet secluded residential street.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    We provide a 7 days-a-week Maid Service with fresh linen and towels every day.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    A selection of our rooms have balconies and a selection face a private garden. The private garden has access available from reception.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    A selection of our rooms offer a balcony.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    We have smoking and non-smoking rooms available on request.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    All rooms have a television with all 5 terrestrial channels as well as 3 Satellite channels including a News/Sports and movie channel.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    All apartments have a direct dial telephone. The direct number is available from reception. All Executive studios have cordless/digital direct dial telephones.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    We not have air-conditioning in the rooms. However every room has an electric fan.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    All large studios (Double/Twin/Triple/Double Executive) have a seating area. The executive four person studio has a large seating area available for dining.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    All studios have Dial-up Internet access. We do also offer a free Broadband service which can be used within the main reception from 6.30pm until 9pm.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    We do not have a swimming pool.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Local car parking is available however we do not have any on-site parking facilities.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    A member of staff at Reception will be able to help you with any travel enquiries.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    The nearest Airport to Astons is Heathrow. The Picadilly line (Situated at Gloucester Road) provides direct access to Heathrow Terminals.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    We can arrange either a taxi or a shuttle service to pick you up or take you to the airport. Please enquire at Reception for further information.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    The nearest bus stop will be located on either Gloucester Road, Cromwell Road or Old Brompton Road.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    The nearest Railway Station is Victoria. Waterloo, Paddington and Kings Cross are also all within close proximity.
  • Which is the nearest / how far away is / how do we arrive from the underground / subway stop?
    The nearest underground station is Gloucester Road or South Kensington situated on the Picadilly, Circle and District lines. Please see 'Where we are' section for directions from these stations.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    There is not a fitness centre within the property. There is one nearby which can be accessed on a daily basis for a small fee.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Pets are only permitted at the managers discretion.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    We do not have a restaurant within the property. There is however a wide selection of brilliant restaurants within walking distance.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    Yes, a dial-up internet connection is available from all rooms. Charges apply.
