During my 8 day stay with the follwoing accounts occurred. My room 1) very small with no safe or daily newspaper (as advertised). 2) My room door was broken (could not be locked)..I informed the receptionist on 2 seperate occasions, but nothing was done.. My daugther's room experienced the following.. 1) No hot water for 3 days..Although there was a plumming problem, at no time was another room offered only an apology from the receptionist (long fair hair and sour face). 2) No power for 1 day...Again, just an apology from the receptionist..
The staff at breakfast times were excellent...Very polite and pleasent every morning, which I have to admit was the only good thing about our stay..Being in the hostpitality industry, this operation leaves alot to be desired and needs some major changes..
Regards Mr. Dennis Hudson ... Each of the rooms should have a fridge and safe and there should be a hotel bar for the guests to have a night cap before calling it a night... ... I would not reccommend this hotel to any of my friends...

Check in desk did not have any information on parking, he said it would be ok to park outside all day but infact it is only for 4 hrs and here was nowhere else to park. the following day I asked another member of staff on check in desk and he directed me to a hotel nearby that have parking spaces but this was after considerable expence on the parking meters and constant driving around to find a space. ... Hotel is good location for earls court, reception / eating area very clean and tidy but the rooms where a let down, very small, out dated bathroom, bedroom furnature although looked modern it had definatly seen better days personaly if I go back to london and I do quite often, I will not stay there again for the price you pay it is not value for money and it is not 3 star.

The room did not exactly matched the foto on the internet (very small and old furniture)as well as the bathroom (both were clean, but not very inviting).
In the other rooms there were problems with the heating (we were not able to turn it off) and the window (we could not close the window). And the roller blind was defect. ... The checking out needed only a few seconds. ... Nice, near the heart of London, good breakfast, good situated (tube station, supermarket), good price for 7 days in London.

I won't recommend it to a friend. The room was too small and the corridor and carpet in the room were dirty.

We arrived late in the evening, and they did'nt find my reservation, they gave us a room on the ground floor for 2 days, the next day I spoke with the director to find out what had happened, he told us after a few minutes trying to discover were was the problem that it was a mistake, that he hadn't seen the reservation Londonby sent to them. If I hadn't shown them the voucher I think I'd had had to find another hotel. ... the lid of the water closet was broken, there was dampness on the roof of the bathroom, there was no satelite tv, and the bed was horrible, we slept because were very tired but was very unconfortable, and there was chemical products on the way to our room ... We had to pay the price of the room when we check in

The bathroom was very clean, bedding was OK but looking a little tired. The carpet in the bedroom needed replacing it did not look particularly clean. I imagine this is because of the volume of guests staying at the hotel. The corridors were unbelievably hot even though it was October. ... Checking out/in was very good ... Good value for money, well posititioned to travel around.

However room was not cleaned from previous occupancy and so we had to ask for another room which we were then given. ... Mr J. L. Currie and mrs J. Currie also had a booking via this web site and the room was extremely small with no room to move. Beds took up all available space. I suggest this was a single room made into a twin. They got moved to my room after one night when I had vacated the room. ... Cheap and cheerful for London. Breakfast good.

Very small and old rooms. Rooms needs to be renewed. Friendly and helpful staff in the morning but reception at check-in (evening)could be much better. I visit UK almost weekly for my job and generally I have better hotels for this price.

As I was expected to arrive early in the morning and did not want to be left without a bed after a long flight from Asia, I had booked a room for the previous night. As I did not get in until the following morning, I think my room was given away to another guest. I was then given a double room, which was pleasant and comfortable. ... Generally, hotels in London are expensive. Therefore, the room was as expected - in accordance to what I have paid. Most of all, it is clean. ... Clean and comfortable in a rather good location.

I think you should have shown us the room before we had to pay for it. I would never have stayed or payed for a room like the one we got in the first place. We got a room at the first floor that was absolutely not suitable to stay in. The room had a very bad smell and was humid and had visible signs of fungus in the ceiling. We made a complain and the staff in the reseption desk was helpful after we had shown them the room. I do hope that you do not use that room for any of your customers before it is totally renovated. ... It is difficult to see on the website how your roms are. They look bigger on the website. The walls in the room where i stayed was dirty and I commented it to the staff. They only cleaned some of it. The berakfast area was very nice and the food was good. We really enjoyed the early morninf meal, and was fit for a day out in London after eating breakfast. ... The checking out worked well. ... I know about some rooms that I would no recommend anyone to stay in. I know you have a very tastfull breakfast and a nice eating area. It is closer to High Street Kensingtn than I thought. ... I do not think I would.
