The Alhambra Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Central London in the King's Cross area. It is an excellent base for exploring the city given that King's Cross tube station is served by the main subway lines. The surrounding area offers all you may need during your stay in London: fine restaurants, banks with cash dispensers, a chemist, an Internet Point and several shops. If you want to reach the heart of London you have just to cross the street and take a tube train which will lead you downtown in 10 min. British Museum is close by (about 15 minutes walk). British Library is just around the corner (5 minutes walking distance).
All major Theatres are located in the so called Theatreland in Piccadily Circus and Soho. To get there you have just to take the Piccadilly line up to Piccadily Circus Station or Leicester square station. To all the shopaholics take the Victoria line underground from King's Cross station to Oxford Circus(about 10 minutes journey)... you will be delighted to find shops of all kinds! |
